Start the cluster application so that Shunsaku failover operations can commence.

Start the cluster application from the Web-Based Admin View.

To verify if the cluster application has started correctly, refer to the system log (syslog) on the active server or use the shunsysstate command to check the process status.

If Shunsaku has been set up to start when the cluster application is varied online, stop Shunsaku by varying the cluster application offline.

Use the Web-Based Admin View to force the cluster application into fail over.

Refer to the PRIMECLUSTER Installation and Administration Guide for more information on starting cluster applications.

mark1Stopping the Cluster Applications

In order to stop the failover function, stop the cluster application.

To check whether the cluster application has stopped correctly, refer to the system log (syslog) or use the shunsysstate command to check the process status.

Refer to the PRIMECLUSTER Installation and Administration Guide for more information on stopping cluster applications.
