4.2 Adding Data

To add data using the API, specify the XML documents to be added. Multiple XML documents are added by either consecutively allocating multiple XML documents to a single area, or by allocating XML documents to multiple areas and then specifying them together.

The following figure shows how to specify multiple XML documents when adding data using APIs.

When multiple directors are being used, XML documents are added to either the "insert point director" in the Management Console, or to the director specified by in the InsertPoint parameter in the conductor environment file.

The Management Console function is provided by the Windows version of Shunsaku only.

The following figure shows how to specify the insert point director using the InsertPoint parameter in the conductor environment file when multiple directors are being used.
