Part 1 The Basic for Developing Application> Chapter 2 Environment Setup> 2.4 Setting Up Environment Files

2.4.1 Specifying a Separate API Environment File for Each Machine on which the APIs are Installed

This section explains how to specify a separate API environment file for each machine where the APIs are installed.

Copy and edit the following sample API environment file.

Shunsaku installation folder\Shunsaku\etc\api\api.cfg-sample

/etc/opt/FJSVshnsk/etc/api/api.cfg-sample

Save the edited API environment file to the same folder as the sample, using the file name "api.cfg".

Shunsaku installation folder\Shunsaku\etc\api\api.cfg

/etc/opt/FJSVshnsk/etc/api/api.cfg

The APIs will still run even if there is no API environment file. In this case the APIs will run using their default values. Refer to Appendix A Execution Parameters in API Environment Files, the Java API Reference, the .NET API Reference or the C API Reference for details.
