1.4.2 Re-registering Lookup data

If changes are made to the data that is the source of the data stored in Shunsaku, the lookup data is re-registered in order to reflect those changes at Shunsaku.

Follow the procedures below to re-register the lookup data.

  1. Prepare at the director server the text file that stores the XML document.

    If there are multiple text files, join them together into one file.

    Refer to Notes on XML Documents in the Application Development Guide for more information on the contents of text files.

    A network drive or network path cannot be specified for a text file.
    It is necessary to specify files on local disks (not including removable disks).
  2. In the navigation frame of the Management Console, click the director identifier.

  3. In the operations frame of the Management Console, select the Status tab and click the Refresh button. Check and record the number of records.

  4. In the operation frame of the Management Console, select the Data operations tab and specify the items shown below. Then, click the Execute button.

    The text file XML document is imported and the lookup data is re-registered to Shunsaku.

    Select the radio button.

    Text file name

    Enter the absolute path name of a text file on the director servers local disk.

    Replace

    Select the radio button.

  5. In the operations frame of the Management Console, select the Status tab and click the Refresh button, then verify that the number of records has changed.
