C.2 Resource Management

Use the following procedure to change parameter values:

1. Stop Shunsaku.

2. Change the required project parameters:

   Change the resource management project parameters for starting Shunsaku. Change other parameters as required.

   Example

   Setting the "project.max-sem-ids" parameter for the "user.root" project

   # projmod -s -K 'project.max-sem-ids=(privileged,158,deny)' user.root

3. Update the parameter values

   Update the changed parameter values to the system.

   Example

   For the "user.root" project

   # newtask -p user.root -c $$

4. Start Shunsaku.
