It checks that the system environment of an installation place is following either. It cannot perform installation of the agent of AdvancedCopy Manager in systems other than the following systems.

It cannot coexist with the following software.

To use this software product, the following hardware is required.
The hardware required to use this software product is listed in the following sub-sections.
At least 64 megabytes.

The following sub-sections explain how to install this software.
In order to install this software, please check whether there is any sufficient empty domain for a disk. Please refer to "Static disk resources" of this manual about the disk size which this software uses. When there is not sufficient empty domain, please reset up the partition composition of a disk.
Log in to the system as a root (super user).
This software CD-ROM (agent program DISC2) is mounted.
# mount /dev/cdrom <RETURN> |
When you execute the installation command (swsetup) for this software, multiple packages are installed at one time. The swsetup command calls the rmp command, and installs all the packages listed in B.1, "Program Components of AdvancedCopy Manager."

The install directory category type and the initial value of the install directory name are displayed. To change the following information, input "y." To leave the information as is, input "n" or press the Return key.
Install directory for the packages (Program install directory)
The initial value is /opt.
Install directory for the environment setup file (Fixed configuration directory)
The initial value is /etc/opt.
Install directory for the files to be modified, such as log file or temporary file (Modifying configuration directory)
The initial value is /var/opt.

When you specify "y" in step 4, also specify the install directory category type and the install directory name.

When the installation terminates normally, the system outputs the following message.

Execute the following commands, and then remove the CD-ROM from the drive.
# cd / <Return> # umount /mnt/cdrom # eject cdrom |
Reboot the system.
shutdown -r now <Return> |
