Chapter 3 Installation of Tape Agent of AdvancedCopy Manager

This chapter explains how to install the Tape Agent of AdvancedCopy Manager.

The Tape Agent of AdvancedCopy Manager is included in the Agent of AdvancedCopy Manager. Therefore, the Tape Agent does not need to be installed separately. This chapter explains specific information for the Tape Agent.

For details of installation in a cluster environment, see the "ETERNUS SF AdvancedCopy Manager Operator's Guide for cluster environment" for the operating system of the target Storage Server.

3.1 Items to Check before Installation

3.1.1 Software Environment

3.1.1.1 System Environment at Installation Destination

The Tape Agent of AdvancedCopy Manager can only be installed under any one of the following Operating environments listed below. Any other system environment is not supported.
