7.6.4 Tuning parameter

The quota function has the following tuning parameter:

• Amount of quota data cached in memory (sfxfs_ncache_quota)

  For the default, the value is automatically obtained based on the amount of installed memory and corresponding allocated area. However, a value can be specified using /etc/system.

  For this value, an area of one kilobyte multiplied by the specified value is allocated to kernel memory for each file system.

  Execute the statistics command sfxstat(1M) exclusive to the GFS Local File System to check the cache hit ratio and perform tuning accordingly.
