Driver name and version

MTU configuration file *1 *2

FUJITSU PCI Gigabit Ethernet 1.4 or later

/etc/fjmtu.fjgeX

FUJITSU PCI Gigabit Ethernet 2.0 or later

/etc/fjmtu.fjgiX

Sun GigaSwift Ethernet 1.0 or later *3

/etc/fjmtu.ceX *4

*1: To specify MTU size of the TCP/IP interface of the Multipath function, making the MTU configuration file of each physical interface used by the Multipath function is required. Write the MTU size between 1500 to 9000 in each MTU configuration file. The value in each MTU configuration file must be same. If a different value is set, the MTU size of the TCP/IP interface of the Multipath function is set to 1500. If you don't make this file, TCP/IP MTU size is set to default value (9000).
*2: X means instance number.
*3: To enable Jumbo Frames mode, use /platform/sun4u/kernel/drv/ce.conf file. Configuration of Jumbo Frames by using ndd(1M) command is not supported.
*4: When using Sun GigaSwift Ethernet 1.0 or later in Multipath function, MTU size is set with /etc/fjmtu.ceX files. Setting MTU size by using /etc/hostname.ceX (X means instance number) or ifconfig(1M) command, shown in the documents of Sun GigaSwift Ethernet 1.0 or later, can not be used.
