2.3 Setup with GLS

The Redundant Control Function of GLS (Global Link Services) allows the network interface used by Web-Based Admin View to be duplex. This will ensure the consistency of GUI monitoring operations.

This section describes how to set up Web-Based Admin View with the network interface made redundant by using GLS.

The setting procedure is explained for each following function;

• Fast switching mode
• NIC (Network Interface Card) switching mode

The following IP addresses can be used for Web-Based Admin View to be redundant.

• IP address for identifying own host (Hereafter referred to as mip)
• IP address used for connecting to the management server from the client (Hereafter referred to as httpip)
