On managed LAN switch blades, VLANs should be set on both the ports (external connection ports) connected with the adjacent managed network devices (such as L2 switches) and the ports (internal connection ports) connected to the NIC on the managed servers.
Note
VLANs cannot be configured on PRIMERGY BX 900 and BX 400 LAN switch blades operating in IBP mode.
