1.1.1 Software Requirement of AdvancedCopy Manager's Manager

The following table lists the software requirements of AdvancedCopy Manager's manager.
For about the supported operating systems, refer to "Operating Environment of ETERNUS SF Manager" in the Installation and Setup Guide.

However, for information on the supported operating systems of Oracle Solaris Zones, refer to "F.3 Software Requirements".

For information on cluster software that can be linked with OSs on which AdvancedCopy Manager's managers are running, refer to "Operating Environment of ETERNUS SF Manager" in the Cluster Environment Setup Guide.

ETERNUS Multipath Driver

When a Management Server operates as a Managed Server, and when it carries out multipath disk control and path load balancing with ETERNUS Multipath Driver.

PRIMECLUSTER GD Snapshot (4.1A40 or later)

When a Management Server operates as a Managed Server, and when the backup operation or replication operation is performed in linkage with PRIMECLUSTER GD Snapshot.

When a Management Server operates as a Managed Server, and when a logical volume of VERITAS Volume Manager is the target of the operation performed.

Oracle Database

When a Management Server operates as a Managed Server, it is necessary to link it to Oracle Database.

Note

  • For Solaris 11 operating system:

    VERITAS Volume Manager is not supported.

  • For multi-path drivers:

    Use the ETERNUS Multipath Drivers for synchronous replication operations that target areas that include VTOC.

Note that the software version level may differ depending on the system environment for installing the software (such as the server OS and storage devices connected to the server). For details about the system environments of the software and supported devices, refer to the relevant software manual.
