NAME

swsrpvrq shadow query - displays the status of shadow copy

SYNOPSIS

To Display Information per Component

<program-directory>\bin\swsrpvrq shadow query [-h hypervHost] -cs componentSet

To Display Information per Server (Executed on Backup Server)

<program-directory>\bin\swsrpvrq shadow query

DESCRIPTION

This command displays the status of shadow copy.
The displayed information is as follows:

Title	Description
Volume	Displays the volume names that are registered in the shadow copy group. Nothing is displayed if the command is executed from a backup server.
Snapshot-ID	Displays the shadow copy IDs if there are shadow copies on the backup volume. Nothing is displayed if there is no shadow copy on the backup volume.
Snapshot-Set-ID	Displays the shadow copy set IDs if there are shadow copies on the backup volume. Nothing is displayed if there is no shadow copy on the backup volume.
Original-Volume	Displays the names of transaction volumes (\\?\Volume{GUID}\). Nothing is displayed if there is no shadow copy on the backup volume.
Original-Machine	Displays the names of the source machines from which shadow copies were created if there are shadow copies on the backup volume. Nothing is displayed if there is no shadow copy on the backup volume.
Snapshot-Volume	Displays the names of shadow copy volumes (\\?\Volume{GUID}\) if there are shadow copies on the backup volume. Nothing is displayed if there is no shadow copy on the backup volume.
Snapshot-Machine	Displays the names of the target machines on which shadow copies were created if there are shadow copies on the backup volume. Nothing is displayed if there is no shadow copy on the backup volume.
Exposed-Path	Displays the drive letters or mount points if all of the following conditions are fulfilled. If there is shadow copy on the backup volume If drive letters or mount points were assigned to the shadow copy volume when creating the shadow copies
Creation-Time	Displays the time of creating shadow copies if there are shadow copies on the backup volume.
Guest-OS	Displays Guest OSs on the volume that have resources. In the case of multiple Guest OSs, the displayed values are delimited by commas. Nothing is displayed if the command is executed from a backup server.

OPTIONS

-h hypervHost: For execution from a backup server, this option specifies the name of the Managed Server for the Hyper-V host for which to display the shadow copy status.

-cs componentSet: Specifies the name of the component set for which to display the shadow copy status.

EXIT STATUS

=0: Completed successfully
>0: Terminated abnormally

EXAMPLES

Give the command from a backup server to the Managed Server "HVHOST01" to display the shadow copy status.
