When an ETERNUS Disk storage system is first detected on Microsoft Windows Server, the disk might be "offline" status.
This status must be changed to "online" if the disk is to be used for copy operations of AdvancedCopy Manager.
In Microsoft Windows Server, it is possible to put the disk in the online/offline state using the "Disk Management" window and the DISKPART tool.
