C.3 Checking Product Version in Linux

Check the product version according to the procedure shown below.

1. Logon to Linux, ETERNUS SF Storage Cruiser component is installed.
   The root (superuser) privileges are not required.

2. Perform the check version according to the command shown below.

   • To check Manager version

     # rpm -qi FJSVssmge

   • To check agent version

     # rpm -qi FJSVssage

3. The rpm command output that results from, VERSION verify information.

   The version information is output in the form of "x.y.z" (x, y, and z are digit). Check the version of the Storage Cruiser components according to the following table.

   Output String	Version of Storage Cruiser Components
   16.10.0	16.9.1
   Others	The x.y part of the x.y.z format is the version of the component. For example, if "16.9.0" is output, the version of the component is 16.9.

   Information

   In the version of Agent, the Version information is output like "16.10.0_rh9". In this case, check the part before the underscore with the above table to determine the version.
