9.5.9 Recovering TFO Pair

As with the operation to release a TFO pair, the operation to recover a TFO pair is used for maintenance work when a RAID failure, a RAID close, or a bad sector occurs, or when the session status of the TFO pair becomes "Error Suspend".
After resolving the incident, recover the TFO pair to restart the synchronization of the volumes.

Point

Recover the TFO pairs of all TFOVs that belong to the failed RAID group. By recovering the TFO pairs, a synchronization between the paired volumes are performed with the initial copy. For the time required for an initial copy, refer to the following tables.

Note

Synchronization with initial copy are performed from volumes of copy source storage device to volumes of copy destination storage device.
For the TFO group with the Active-Active configuration, the storage device side that the TFOG Role is "Local" is copy source and the storage device side that the TFOG Role is "Remote" is copy destination.
For the TFO group with the Active-Standby configuration, the storage device side that the TFO status is "Active" is copy source and the storage device side that the TFO status is "Standby" is copy destination.
Before performing the work in this section, confirm that the direction of the initial copy is correct.
