4.6 Q: What Does the Limit of 255 Message Events Apply To?

Applicable versions and levels

A

The maximum of 255 message events applies to an entity that waits for message events, or in other words, to each job net. This is the limit on how many events generated while a job net is executing can be queued. If a job net waits only for message events, the number of queued events decreases by one each time it is executed. The queued events are not cleared automatically at the day change time.

To clear message events, manually start the jobschmsgclear command, or register the command as a job net to clear the message events.
