/var/log/messages file
When $EscapeControlCharactersOnReceive off has not been specified in /etc/rsyslog.conf, control characters included in the message of /var/log/messages may be displayed in the form of "#XXX(X indicates digits)." However, no operational failure will occur and no action is required.
Example:
SDX: sdxservd: INFO: command executed:#012#011sdxvolume -M -c Class1 -g Group1 -s 32768 -v Volume1 SDX: sdxservd: INFO: command exited, exit-status=0:#012#011sdxvolume -M -c Class1 -g Group1 -s 32768 -v Volume1
