DESCRIPTION
This command enters information of the following hardware connected to a cluster system in the resource database.
Shared disk devices
Information of shared disk devices specified in the shared disk definition file is entered in the resource database.
Network devices
Network devices are automatically detected and entered in the resource database.
You can execute this command on any single node in the cluster system with the Administrator's authority.
While this command is running, you may not execute this command on the given node or another node.
OPTIONS
Registers the shared disk unit in the resource database. Specify the full path to a predefined shared disk definition file for diskfile.
Registers the network device in the resource database. The detected network device is active. The inactive devices are not detected. Execute the ifconfig(8) command to confirm if the network device is running.
Registers the resource automatically.
EXIT STATUS
Normal termination.
Abnormal termination.
NOTES
You need to check the following before executing the command:
CF, CIP, and resource database settings are complete on all nodes
All nodes and disk units are connected.
All nodes are up in multi-user mode.
There is no closed class in the cluster domain.
There is no disk in SWAP status in the cluster domain.
