If you use GDS on a VMware guest, pay attention to the following points when you add a disk to a VMware guest.
When registering a virtual disk (VMDK or RDM in virtual compatible mode) in a class, it is necessary to set true to the virtual machine configuration parameter: disk.EnableUUID. If true is not set to disk.EnableUUID, stop the virtual machine first, then change it to true. For how to set the virtual machine configuration parameter, see the manual of VMware.
