The following functions are based on OPC functions (including QuickOPC function) of ETERNUS Disk storage system.
Instant snapshot by OPC

These functions are only available for using a disk array unit with the OPC function in ETERNUS Disk storage system.
These functions are also unavailable under such conditions that prevent the use of Advanced Copy functions as described in "The Advanced Copy function is not used when:" in "A.8 Using Advanced Copy Function in Proxy Configuration."
Note
Rebooting a Server While OPC Running
Even if a server is rebooted while the copying between master and proxy is being processed by OPC, the OPC copying will continue running. However, if OPC sessions are not present when the server is up again, GDS will assume that the copying failed and copy destination volumes will be INVALID. For recovering this status, see "(4) Master volume is in INVALID status." and "(5) Proxy volume is in INVALID status." in "D.1.3 Volume Status Abnormality."
