By registering a disk unit with GDS, system administrators will be able to centrally manage all operation on the disk (configuration setting, configuration management, operation monitoring, backup, data migration, configuration change, maintenance) via GDS operation management interface.
Operation management interfaces provide the GUI (Graphical User Interface) that allows easy and intuitive operation even for inexperienced Linux system users, and the CLI (Command Line Interface) that is useful for automatic processing, operation logging, and liaising with other applications.
