This manual describes the function, setting up, and managing of the following software:

Global Disk Services	GDS	Volume management software provided by PRIMECLUSTER.
Global Disk Services Snapshot	GDS Snapshot	Optional software of GDS provided by PRIMECLUSTER GD Snapshot.
Global Disk Services I/O Monitor Option	GDS I/O Monitor Option	Optional software of GDS provided by PRIMECLUSTER GD I/O Monitor Option.

Purpose

This manual aims to help users understand GDS, GDS Snapshot, and GDS I/O Monitor Option, including environment configuration, operation, and maintenance.

Target Reader

This manual is devoted to all users who will operate and manage GDS, GDS Snapshot, and GDS I/O Monitor Option, and programmers who will create applications running in GDS environments.
