C.5 Checking Product Version in AIX

Check the product version according to the procedure shown below.

In addition, AIX running on ETERNUS SF Storage Cruiser is the only component of the agent and explained to the agent.

1. Logon to AIX, ETERNUS SF Storage Cruiser component is installed.
   The root (superuser) privileges are not required.

2. Perform the check version according to the command shown below.

   # /usr/bin/cat /etc/opt/FJSVssage/version.dat

3. The result of command execution, output is as follows.

   # /usr/bin/cat /etc/opt/FJSVssage/version.dat
   version=16.6.0
   #

   Version information is output in the form of "x.y.z" (x, y, and z are digit).
