A.7 Capacity Necessary for Backup of Previous Version

The formula for estimation of the capacity required in order to backup a previous version is listed below.

According to the number of registered storage devices, servers, switches and users (number of user accounts) using Web Console, add the following capacity:

Capacity (MB) = 125 + devicesToBeManaged * 4.1 + users

According to the number of registered storage devices add the total of the following capacity to the abovementioned capacity:

When using an ETERNUS DX80 S2/DX90 S2 (firmware version V10L40 or later)

When using an ETERNUS DX400 S2 series (firmware version V10L40 or later)
