8.2.1 In Case of Problem During Upgrade of ETERNUS SF Manager (for Windows)

If a problem occurs during the Upgrade Installation process for ETERNUS SF Manager version 16.x. for the server on which Upgrade Installation failed, perform the following actions.

  1. For cluster environments, if the general script files (for start/stop) of the following services are in use, back up to an optional directory.

    • ETERNUS SF Manager Apache Service

    • ETERNUS SF Manager Tomcat Service

  2. Start the command prompt.

  3. Save the device.ini file. (only for Management Server which also serves as a Managed Server)

Save the following file by using the copy command.

    • For non-clustered systems

      File for Save

      File Name

      device.ini

      $ENV_DIR\ACM\etc\device.ini
