The operating system of the server on which to install ETERNUS SF Manager must be one of the following.

*1: For Solaris 11.4 or later, add and install the "text/gnu-grep" and "package/svr4" packages. For Solaris 11.3 or earlier, add and install the "text/gnu-grep" package.

Change the environment/TZ of the SMF service instance svc:/system/environment:init of the operating system to the appropriate timezone name instead of the local time and then refresh the service. After that, reboot the operating system.
Specify the appropriate timezone name to timeZoneName. For example, specify "US/Pacific" to timeZoneName to use this product in the Pacific Standard Time (PST) zone.
Note that this procedure must be performed before installing this product even if other methods such as the "nlsadm" command is used to set the timezone when the OS is installed.

*3: The ETERNUS SF Manager process may stop due to OS problems. If this occurs, perform the following procedure.
Delete the second "security.provider.n" (where n is an integer) from the "/opt/FJSVesfcm/JRE/lib/security/java.security" file. After that, below the deleted line, decrease the number for each "security.provider.n" by one.
Restart the OS.

Note
The IPv6 address device cannot be monitored if the manager program of Systemwalker Centric Manager V13.5.0 or earlier has been installed in a Linux environment.
In a Windows environment, if the manager program of Systemwalker Centric Manager V13.5.1 or earlier is installed, device monitoring using the SNMPv3 protocol is not possible.
