7.13 clallshutdown message

This section explains messages output when the clallshutdown command is executed.

<command> does not exist.

Content:

The command <command> does not exist.

Corrective action:

  • If the command <command> is a standard OS command, installation of an OS may have failed.

    In this case, install the OS again.

  • If the command <command> is a PRIMECLUSTER command, installation of PRIMECLUSTER may have failed.

    In this case, install PRIMECLUSTER again.

<command> does not execute.

Content:

The command <command> is not executable.

Corrective action:

  • If the command <command> is a standard OS command, installation of an OS may have failed.

    In this case, install the OS again.

  • If the command <command> is a PRIMECLUSTER command, installation of PRIMECLUSTER may have failed.

    In this case, install PRIMECLUSTER again.

No system administorator authority.(uid:<USERID>)

Content:

The user <USERID> is not a root user (<USERID> is a user ID of the user who has executed the clallshutdown command).

Corrective action:

Execute the clallshutdown command as a root user.

Error in option specification.
Usage:clallshutdown -i state [-g time]

Content:

The message displays a usage of the clallshutdown command.

Corrective action:

Specify valid options to the clallshutdown command.

The node in LEFTCLUSTER state exists in cluster.(node:<LEFT_NODE>)

Content:

The node <LEFT_NODE> is in LEFTCLUSTER state.

Corrective action:

Resolve the LEFTCLUSTER state of the node.

Execute the clallshutdown command to stop the node safely with RMS running.

Content:

The clallshutdown command has been executed on the node without running RMS.

Corrective action:

Execute the clallshutdown command on the node with running RMS.

Fail to stop RMS. (errno:<STATUS>)

Content:

A process to stop RMS failed.
<STATUS> indicates the return value of the command (hvshut -a) that stops RMS.

Corrective action:

  • clallshutdown command may have been executed when the userApplication is in maintenance mode status.

    Cancel the maintenance mode of userApplication and then execute the clallshutdown command.

  • RMS may have some problems.
    For an investigation, see and follow "PRIMECLUSTER Reliant Monitor Services (RMS) with Wizard Tools Configuration and Administration Guide" for PRIMECLUSTER 4.3A30 or later, and "PRIMECLUSTER Reliant Monitor Services (RMS) Reference Guide" or "Troubleshooting" in "PRIMECLUSTER Installation and Administration Guide" for PRIMECLUSTER 4.3A20 or earlier.

The command "cftool -n" cannot finish normally.(errno:<STATUS>)

Content:

Execution of the cftool command (cftool -n) failed.
<STATUS> indicates the return value of the cftool -n.

Corrective action:

The CF may have some problems.
For an investigation, see and follow "Diagnostics and troubleshooting" in "PRIMECLUSTER Cluster Foundation (CF) Configuration and Administration Guide" or "Troubleshooting" in "PRIMECLUSTER Installation and Administration Guide."

The command "clexec" cannot finish normally.

Content:

Execution of the clexec command failed.

Corrective action:

The CF may have some problems.
For an investigation, see and follow "Diagnostics and troubleshooting" in "PRIMECLUSTER Cluster Foundation (CF) Configuration and Administration Guide" or "Troubleshooting" in "PRIMECLUSTER Installation and Administration Guide."

<CONF_FILE> does not exist.

Content:

The configuration file of the clallshutdown command <CONF_FILE> does not exist.

Corrective action:

Installation of PRIMECLUSTER may have failed.
In this case, install PRIMECLUSTER again.
