11.5.5 Register/Reload VMware vCenter Server and Change User Information of VMware vCenter Server

The procedure of server registration/reloading of the VMware vCenter Server and the procedure of changing the user information of the VMware vCenter Server are as follows:

  1. On the global navigation tab, click Server.
    The registered servers are displayed on the Main pane.

  2. On the Main pane, click the target server name.

  3. On the Category pane, click Correlation.
    The items of the Category pane change into the items concerning the correlation management.

  4. On the Category pane, click End to End View (VMware).

  5. On the Action pane, click Register/Reload under VMware vCenter Server.
    The information input screen is displayed.

    Enter an IP address, port number, user name, and password, and then click Confirm.
    If the VMware vCenter Server is already registered, the saved password can be used. In that case, select "Yes" for Use saved access information. When entering a new password, select "No".

    Point

    If the user information of the VMware vCenter Server has been changed, select "No" for Use saved access information and enter the username and password again.

  6. Enter the necessary information, and then click Confirm.

Note

If the VMware vCenter Server is a dual stack device to which both IPv4 and IPv6 addresses are configured, register either of the two addresses.
