11.4.3 Add Access Path (Other Than ETERNUS Disk Storage System)

The procedures to add an access path to a device other than ETERNUS Disk storage systems is as follows:

1. On the global navigation tab, click Server.

2. On the Category pane, click Access Path.
   The connection information for a server and storage devices is displayed on the Main pane.

3. On the Action pane, click Add (Other) under Access Path.

4. Click the target server radio button on the Select Server screen.
   Enter the necessary information, and then click Next.

5. Click the target storage device radio button on the Select Storage screen.
   Enter the necessary information, and then click Next.

6. Confirm the information, and then click Add.

Note

This operation for devices other than ETERNUS Disk storage systems executes only the WWPN zoning setting to the FC switch because it cannot set the host affinity for devices other than ETERNUS Disk storage systems.
Set WWPN zoning information can be confirmed with the zoning list screen.
Devices for which host affinity cannot be set are not displayed in the screen displaying access path information.
