9.15.24 Display Quota Information

The procedure to display the quota setting information and the quota management events is as follows:

  1. On the global navigation tab, click Storage.
    The registered ETERNUS Disk storage systems are displayed on the Main pane.

  2. On the Main pane, click the target ETERNUS Disk storage system.

  3. On the Category pane, click NAS Management.
    The items of the Category pane change into the items concerning the NAS Management.

  4. On the Category pane, click Quota Management.

  5. The quota setting list is displayed on the Main pane. When switching the tabs on the Main pane, displays the information below.

    Tab Name

    Explanation

    User/Group

    The information of quota setting and usage status for the user/group is displayed.

    Shared Folder

    The information of quota setting and usage status for the shared folder is displayed.

    Log

    Event log indicating that a quota warning value has been exceeded and a limit value has been exceeded is displayed.

Point

In Used Status of the User/Group tab or the Shared Folder tab, the following status is displayed according to the disk usage and the number of files.

Status

Explanation

Normal

Disk usage and the number of files are normal, which is below the warning value.

Warning

Either disk usage or the number of files or both are larger than the warning value and less than the limit value.

Exceeded

Either disk usage or the number files or both have reached the limit value (exceeded the limit value).
If data is updated or a file is created in this state, an error occurs, resulting in an event notification saying that the limit value has been exceeded.

Unknown

The information on disk usage and the number of files cannot be obtained. The following items are not displayed:

  • Disk Space (Used Size)

  • Disk Space (Used Rate)

  • File Count (Used Count)

  • File Count (Used Rate)

The authentication server could not be accessed or the user or group to which quota is set may have been deleted from the authentication server. In this state, check the following points:

  • Whether communication is possible between the authentication server and the ETERNUS Disk storage system.

  • Whether the user or group to which quota is set is registered to the authentication server.
