9.15.4 Delete Shared Folder

Point

  • This operation is available only for the following storage devices installed with the NAS option.

    • ETERNUS DX100 S4/DX200 S4, DX500 S4/DX600 S4

    • ETERNUS DX100 S3/DX200 S3, DX500 S3/DX600 S3

  • If you delete the shared folder for home directory "homes", before performing the following steps, use the Clear NAS Data function of the ETERNUS Disk storage system to delete all the files and folders (including home directory) under "homes". Refer to the ETERNUS Disk storage system manuals for details about the Clear NAS Data function.

The procedure to delete the shared folder is as follows:

  1. On the global navigation tab, click Storage.
    The registered ETERNUS Disk storage systems are displayed on the Main pane.

  2. On the Main pane, click the target ETERNUS Disk storage system.

  3. On the Category pane, click NAS Management.
    The created shared folders are displayed on the Main pane.

  4. On the Main pane, check the target shared folder checkbox.

  5. On the Action pane, click Delete under Shared Folder.
    The information confirmation screen is displayed.

  6. Check that the selected shared folder is correct, and then click Delete.
