The procedure to delete the registered Tier pool is as follows:
On the global navigation tab, click Storage.
The registered ETERNUS Disk storage systems are displayed on the Main pane.
On the Main pane, click the target ETERNUS Disk storage system.
On the Category pane, click Automated Storage Tiering.
The items of the Category pane change into the items concerning Automated Storage Tiering.
On the Category pane, click Tier Pool.
The registered Tier pools are displayed on the Main pane.
On the Main pane, check the target Tier pool checkbox.
Two or more Tier pools can be selected.
On the Action pane, click Delete under Tier Pool.
The information confirmation screen is displayed.
Confirm the information, and then click Delete.
Note
The following Tier pools cannot be deleted:
Tier pools on which any FTV is present
Tier pools that have Virtual Volumes
Tier pools in which Automated Storage Tiering has already been started
Tier pools that have configured VVOL datastores
Tier pools that have configured Clone backup VVOL datastores
