9.14.5 Delete Tiering Policy

The procedure to delete the registered Tiering policy is as follows:

  1. On the global navigation tab, click Storage.
    The registered ETERNUS Disk storage systems are displayed on the Main pane.

  2. On the Main pane, click the target ETERNUS Disk storage system.

  3. On the Category pane, click Automated Storage Tiering.
    The items of the Category pane change into the items concerning Automated Storage Tiering.

  4. On the Category pane, click Tiering Policies.
    The registered Tiering policies are displayed on the Main pane.

  5. On the Main pane, check the target Tiering policy checkbox.
    Only one Tiering policy can be selected.

  6. On the Action pane, click Delete under Tiering Policies.
    The information confirmation screen is displayed.

  7. Confirm the information, and then click Delete.

Note

The Tiering policy that is currently assigned to any Tier pool cannot be deleted.
