9.10.8 Display/Forcible Suspend/Forcible Cancel Copy Session

The procedure to display/forcible suspend/forcible cancel the copy sessions is as follows:
To display the copy session list, perform from step 1 to step 4.
Otherwise, perform all steps.

1. On the global navigation tab, click Storage.
   The registered ETERNUS Disk storage systems are displayed on the Main pane.

2. On the Main pane, click the target ETERNUS Disk storage system.

3. On the Category pane, click Advanced Copy.
   The items of the Category pane change into the items concerning Advanced Copy.

4. On the Category pane, click Copy Sessions.
   The running copy session list is displayed on the Main pane.

5. On the Main pane, check the target copy session checkbox.

6. Perform the following procedures according to the operation purpose.

   For Suspending Copy Session Forcibly

   1. On the Action pane, click Force Suspend under Copy Session.
      The information confirmation screen is displayed.

   2. Confirm the information, and then click Suspend.

   For Cancelling Copy Session Forcibly

   1. On the Action pane, click Force Cancel under Copy Session.
      The information confirmation screen is displayed.

   2. Confirm the information, and then click Cancel Copy.

Note

• If the Storage Cluster Continuous Copy function is in use and an unlinked copy session remains in the standby system, the copy session must be forcibly stopped. Refer to "When Recovering Storage Cluster Continuous Copy Function" in the AdvancedCopy Manager Operation Guide for details.

• In the following VVOL sessions, the value of the Progress field on the Copy Sessions screen may not reach 100 % depending on the data update status:

  • VVOL-Snapshot

  • VVOL-Fastclone
