9.10.3 Create/Display/Delete Copy Group

The procedure to create/display/delete a copy group is as follows:
To display the copy group list, perform from step 1 to step 4.
Otherwise, perform all steps.

  1. On the global navigation tab, click Storage.
    The registered ETERNUS Disk storage systems are displayed on the Main pane.

  2. On the Main pane, click the target ETERNUS Disk storage system.

  3. On the Category pane, click Advanced Copy.
    The items of the Category pane change into the items concerning Advanced Copy.

  4. On the Category pane, click Copy Group.
    The created copy group list is displayed on the Main pane.

  5. Perform the following procedures according to the operation purpose.

    For Creating Copy Group
    1. On the Action pane, click Create under Copy Group.
      The information input screen is displayed.

    2. Enter the necessary information, and then click Create.
      When using the Storage Cluster Continuous Copy function, refer to [Point] later in this section to enter required information.

    For Deleting Copy Group
    1. On the Action pane, click Delete under Copy Group.
      The information confirmation screen is displayed.

    2. Confirm the information, and then click Delete.

Point

When using the Storage Cluster Continuous Copy function, perform the following procedure with step 5-b of "For Creating Copy Group". However, Storage Cluster must be preconfigured for the selected ETERNUS Disk storage system:

  1. For Copy Type, select either "Clone(One Time)[OPC]", "Clone(Recurring)[QuickOPC]", or "Clone(Split Mirror)[EC]".
    The Storage Cluster Continuous Copy column is displayed.

  2. Check the Enable checkbox to enable continuous copy.

  3. Select the remote ETERNUS Disk storage system that is configured with Storage Cluster from the pull-down list.

Note

When deleting the Storage Cluster environment, prior deletion of copy pairs/copy groups that contain TFOV (volumes that have "/TFOV" in the character string in the Usage column) is required.
