9.8.5 Start/Stop Disk Drive Which Configures RAID Group

The procedure to start/stop the disk drive which configures RAID Group is as follows:

1. On the global navigation tab, click Storage.
   The registered ETERNUS Disk storage systems are displayed on the Main pane.

2. On the Main pane, click the target ETERNUS Disk storage system.

3. On the Category pane, click RAID Group.

4. On the RAID Group pane, click ECO Mode.
   The RAID groups in the ETERNUS Disk storage system are displayed on the Main pane.

5. On the Main pane, check the target RAID group checkbox.

6. Perform the following procedures according to the operation purpose.

   For Starting of Disk Drive

   1. On the Action pane, click Start under Disk Drive.
      The information confirmation screen is displayed.

   2. Confirm the information, and then click Start.

   For Stopping of Disk Drive

   1. On the Action pane, click Stop under Disk Drive.
      The information confirmation screen is displayed.

   2. Confirm the information, and then click Stop.
