The following functions that have been added to the ETERNUS DX8900 S4 can be executed from Storage Cruiser:
Setting, releasing, or displaying Extreme Cache
Setting and displaying the Compression of the Thin Provisioning Pool
Expanding the maximum capacity of the Thin Provisioning Pool and Tier Pool to 128 PB
Displaying the Compression performance information of the Thin Provisioning Volume
Changing the line speed of the REC path (if at least one of the REC connection storage devices is the ETERNUS DX8900 S4)
Displaying the QoS Pattern Settings that are changed in the storage device
The following function that has been added to the ETERNUS DX100 S4/DX200 S4, DX500 S4/DX600 S4, DX S3 series (excluding the ETERNUS DX60 S3), and the ETERNUS AF All-Flash Arrays can be executed from Storage Cruiser:
Displaying the QoS Pattern Settings that are changed in the storage device

To use the above-mentioned function for the ETERNUS DX100 S4/DX200 S4, DX500 S4/DX600 S4, DX S3 series (excluding the ETERNUS DX60 S3), and the ETERNUS AF All-Flash Arrays, the firmware version of the storage device must be upgraded to a version that supports the function.
Web Console screens that show the volume information (such as the Volume Overview screen and the Volume Detail screen) can display snapshot volumes that are used for Veeam. This function is supported for the following storage devices.
ETERNUS DX S4 series (excluding the ETERNUS DX8900 S4)
ETERNUS AF S2 series

To use the above-mentioned function, the firmware version of the target storage device must be upgraded to a version that supports the Veeam interoperation function. In addition, the Program Urgent Fix for supporting the firmware version must be applied to the manager program of this software.
