To manage the ETERNUS DX60 S5/DX100 S5/DX200 S5, DX900 S5, the ETERNUS AF150 S3/AF250 S3, the Program Urgent Fix that makes their storage devices available must be applied to the following program.
For the Agent-based operating model: Manager program of this software
For the Agent-less operating model: AdvancedCopy Manager Copy Control Module
Note
The storage devices described above are not supported by the AdvancedCopy Manager Agent for HP-UX/AIX.
AdvancedCopy Manager can use the following functions that are added in the ETERNUS DX S5 series, ETERNUS AF S3 series:
Stopping the SnapOPC+ session of a specific snap generation other than the oldest among the snap generations created with SnapOPC+
Using the Deduplication/Compression volume as the SnapOPC+ copy destination
Starting a cascaded SnapOPC+ session for the copy destination of the SnapOPC+ session

The functions described above are not supported by the AdvancedCopy Manager Agent for HP-UX/AIX.
The behavior after operations for SnapOPC+ sessions are performed varies depending on the storage device. Refer to the following manuals for details.
"Deletable SnapOPC+ Snap Generations" under the Chapter "Replication" in the AdvancedCopy Manager Operation Guide
"Stopping SnapOPC+" under the Chapter "Operation" in the AdvancedCopy Manager Operation Guide for Copy Control Module
To prevent necessary SnapOPC+ sessions from being stopped, confirm that the target storage device, its firmware version, the volume type of the copy destination volume, and the snap generation are all correct before stopping the SnapOPC+ session.
In an environment that uses the AdvancedCopy Manager Copy Control Module, VMware script operations that use the following software are supported.
VMware vSphere(ESXi) 7.0
VMware vCenter Server 7.0
VMware vSphere PowerCLI 11.5
