To use the following functions displayed in the Job Selection window of the Systemwalker Operation Manager window, the clients specify either the physical IP address or the logical IP address when connecting to the Systemwalker Operation Manager server running on a cluster system:

When using the following functions, how to specify the connection setting differs depending on whether the automatic reflection is enabled with the calsetcluster command.
Registering, modifying or deleting calendars
Automatically controlling the server power supply
Defining service/application startup information
Specify either the logical IP address of the cluster system or the host name corresponding to that logical IP address when starting the Systemwalker Operation Manager client.
Specify the physical IP address of the respective machine when starting the Systemwalker Operation Manager client.
If the Master Schedule Management function is to be used, specify either the logical IP address for the cluster system or the host name corresponding to the logical IP address when connecting from either Master Schedule Management or Master Schedule Management Environment Setup.
When setting up an environment for Systemwalker Operation Manager, specify the physical IP address for the "server IP address" when the Systemwalker Operation Manager Environment Setup window starts up.
When using multi-server monitoring client, use the physical IP address to specify the server IP address at startup.
When using the Jobscheduler information print client, either the physical IP address or the logical IP address can be used to specify the server IP address at startup.
If failover occurs while the client is connected to the server, the connection to the server will be broken. Reconnect after the failover completes.
