Did you omit a host name, or specify the host name of the operating system to which you cannot distribute, when you tried to distribute a policy?
Cause
Policy information can be extracted and distributed between the Solaris, HP-UX and AIX versions or between the Linux and Linux for Itanium versions. The policy information extracted from the Windows version can be distributed only to the Windows version.
If a host name is omitted, the policy will be distributed to the server that has logged in from the desktop (a server running Systemwalker Operation Manager environment setup client). Therefore, when you try to distribute policy information extracted from an operating system other than the Windows version, this pop-up message is displayed, and the policy cannot be distributed.
Action method
Specify a host name of the server to which a policy can be distributed, and then distribute.
If a host name is omitted, the policy will be distributed to the server that has logged in from the desktop (a server running Systemwalker Operation Manager environment setup client). If you want to distribute the policy to another server, specify the host name of the distribution destination server.
