"Startup day information" is information retained by each job net about the startup days for three years including the current year.
The startup day information is created based on the content set in the following windows:
Startup days tab of the Job Net Properties window
Startup Days window
Startup Days (Preview) window
Application Plan window
Startup days and exception days
There are two types of job net startup day: startup days and exception days. The two types are treated differently depending on the window used to set them. The following table explains the differences between startup days and exception days.
Type | Description | Set in: |
---|---|---|
Startup day | Basic startup day (startup day set semipermanently). | Startup days tab of the Job Net Properties window |
Exception day | This may sometimes be cleared when the calendar or startup day is changed. It is also deleted when only Calendar is distributed as policy information. | Startup days window Startup days (Preview) window Application Plan window |
Triggers for the re-creation of startup day information and the deletion of the exception day
The startup day information that was created when the job net was registered is re-created according to the triggers shown below.
If the startup day information is re-created, the exception day is deleted and the startup day is set again using the information that was registered in the Startup days tab of the Job Net Properties window. For this reason, care should be taken when performing the following operation.
The triggers for the re-creation of the startup day information, and of the target ranges, are shown below.
Note that if there is a "Y" for "Halt recreation of startup days" in the table below, you can halt the re-creation of the startup day and the deletion of the exception day by using the halt re-creation of startup days function or by specifying the reschedule day.
Re-creation trigger | Target range for re-creation | Halt re-creation of startup days |
---|---|---|
When the following options in the Job Net Properties window are changed (including cases where the job net control statement is used to change the relevant operands):
| Target job nets only | N |
Changing or deleting a holiday calendar that is being referenced by a job net | A job net that is referencing a holiday calendar that was changed | Y (*1) |
Changing a schedule pattern that is being referenced by a job net | A job net that is referencing a schedule pattern that was changed | Y |
| A job net that is referencing the target base job net | N |
*1: Specifying a reschedule date halts the re-creation of the startup day until the reschedule date.
Refer to "I Want to Fine Tune Startup Days" in the Systemwalker Operation Manager How-To Guide for information on halt re-creation. Refer to "2.4 Setting the Calendar Reschedule Date" for information on specifying the reschedule date.
