G.3.1 Specification Changes in 4.3A00

Specification changes other than new features in the version 4.3A00 of this software are as follows.

G.3.1.1 Support for Export to NFS Clients

By defining file systems on volumes in the /etc/exports file, export of the file systems to an NFS client is achieved.

G.3.1.2 Change of I/O Amount Supported for Simultaneous Processing

The amount of I/O requests to volumes that can be accepted simultaneously is limited.
As a result, it may take time for making responses to the I/O requests if the processing issues many I/O requests at the same time.

This specification change is only for RHEL5 or later.
For RHEL4, no similar specification change was made and the I/O amount is unlimited.
