If CF is not configured, see "PRIMECLUSTER Cluster Foundation (CF) Configuration and Administration Guide" and configure CF. If CF is already configured, start up CF.

Failed to get iRMC/MMB information. Make sure the ipmi service is running.

IP address is not set to iRMC.

Content:

This error message indicates that the IP address is not set to iRMC, or VGA/USB/rKVMS of Home SB is not assigned to any one of the extended partitions of PRIMEQUEST3000 series (except B model) in the cluster node environment.

Corrective action:

Execute the command again after checking the settings of iRMC.
If an extended partition is used, make sure that VGA/USB/rKVMS of Home SB is assigned to any one of the extended partitions (except B model) and then execute the command.
If it still does not work, record this message and collect information for an investigation. Then, contact field engineers. For details on how to collect information, see "Troubleshooting" in "PRIMECLUSTER Installation and Administration Guide."

IP address is not set to MMB.

Corrective action:

The IP address version of the admin LAN of shutdown facility does not match that of iRMC.

Corrective action:

Perform one of the following:

  • Change the IP address of management LAN in the shutdown configuration to the format of IP address set in iRMC.

  • Set the IP address format set in the management LAN of the shutdown configuration in iRMC.

The IP address version of the admin LAN of shutdown facility does not match that of MMB.

Corrective action:

Perform one of the following:

  • Change the IP address of management LAN in the shutdown configuration to the format of IP address set in MMB.

  • Set the IP address format set in the management LAN of the shutdown configuration in MMB.

The iRMC/MMB information is not set.

Corrective action:

Check the following points:

<Other than PRIMEQUEST 3000 environment>

Since the clirmcsetup command is for the PRIMEQUEST 3000 environment, use the correct command suitable for your environment.

<PRIMEQUEST 3000 environment>

Execute the clirmcsetup -l command and check the iRMC/MMB information currently registered. If necessary, use the clirmcsetup command to register iRMC/MMB information.

If this corrective action does not work, record this message and collect information for an investigation. Then, contact field engineers. For details on how to collect information, see "Troubleshooting" in "PRIMECLUSTER Installation and Administration Guide."

This server architecture is invalid.

Content:

This error message indicates that the command was executed with other than PRIMEQUEST 3000.

Corrective action:

Check the environment where the command is being executed and use the correct command.

This server has not the MMB.

Content:

This error message indicates that an option cannot be used with the PRIMEQUEST 3000 B model.

Corrective action:

Usage of the option specified in this environment is not necessary.
