This product is provided as a virtual appliance. Deploy the virtual appliance in the server virtualization software to install this product.

When linking with the cloud backup script of ETERNUS SF AdvancedCopy Manager, make sure that the virtual disk for the cache and Archive Operations Area has a capacity that differs from the backup volume of AdvancedCopy Manager. If they have the same capacity, they are indistinguishable in"2.4 Allocating the Virtual Disks to a Storage Pool for Cache and Archive Operations". Therefore, connecting to the backup volume of AdvancedCopy Manager when the virtual appliance is deployed is not recommended. Connect the backup volume after performing "2.4 Allocating the Virtual Disks to a Storage Pool for Cache and Archive Operations".
