This section describes corrective actions when the write processing fails by ENOSPC (no free areas) even if data space of the file system contains free space.
When V-data area usage exceeds 80%, the write processing may fail by ENOSPC.
Execute the following command to the file system with a write failure, and then check the number of V-data blocks (vdata) and the total number of available V-data blocks (free).
sfcdf -v <representative partition of the file system> |
Deleting unused files or directories, or moving them into other file systems helps you to reduce V-data area usage.
