Use the following procedure to set the system clock.
You do not need to perform this procedure if the NTP server is set to be used with Configure NTP in the Configuration Wizard.
From the console, log in to the virtual machine as the administrative user in which this product is running.
Confirm the current time.
# csgadm time show Local time: Wed 2017-04-05 02:25:41 UTC Universal time: Wed 2017-04-05 02:25:41 UTC :
Set the time and date.
# csgadm time set-time date time
Example
The following example shows the command for setting the time and date to 11:26 November 30, 2017.
# csgadm time set-time 2017-11-30 11:26:00
Information
When you change the date and time in this procedure after setting up the environment, it is necessary to restart the system. Verify that there is no business impact, and then execute the following command to restart the system:
# csgadm power restart
Note
If you change the date and time in the opposite direction, the log or performance graph may not be displayed correctly because the log and performance data for this product are duplicated in the time slot before and after the change.
