Fetch the device information from the Managed Servers (non-global zones).
This procedure need not be performed for Managed Servers (global zones).
For operational procedures, refer to the following sections, depending on the operation.
For backing up normal transaction volumes: "3.4.4 Fetching Device Information on Managed Server"
For replicating: "6.4.4 Fetching Device Information on Managed Server"
Point
After fetching the device information, confirm that the fetched devices are imported as the devices in the ETERNUS Disk storage systems. This operation can be performed with Web Console or the stgxfwcmdisppat command.
If the devices are not imported, there may be errors in the host information setting file. Check the contents of the file. If errors are found, correct them and then fetch the device information on the Managed Servers again.
