When configuring the email settings to use during the application process, if the manager is started in a configuration where it cannot connect to the SMTP server, the application process function will not start.
If the [Request] tab is opened while the application process function is not running, the error screen "Failed to authenticate the user" will be displayed.
Confirm that it is possible for the admin server to connect to the SMTP server, and then restart the OS of the admin server.
