3.13 When using VMware as the Server Virtualization Software, Windows Server 2012 or Later Does Not Operate Correctly.

Description

When using VMware as the server virtualization software with Windows Server 2012 or later as the OS type of an L-Server, the OS may stop operating correctly when the following operations are performed.

  • Creation of an L-Server
  • Modification of the configuration of an L-Server (attaching of disks)

Corrective Action

The infrastructure administrator should configure the SCSI controller definition file.

For details of the definition file, refer to "SCSI Controller Definition File" in "8.2.1 Creating Definition Files" in the "Setup Guide CE".
